New weights

Got some new weights for the downriggers to try out I thought they came out good

Very nice. Mine came in white, so I spray painted them black. After a couple seasons that look like killer whales. White on the bottom and black on top. I kind of like them that way.

It’s a great weight, great service. Some guys will keep the box on the boat for storage. Some will use the holders you can buy for sharks.

ok    looked at  specs my  cannon  stx10   takes up to  20 pounds  weights so  how bout  15  to 16  pounds   suffice ? be fishing up to  150  feet  of  water at least

Recommend to use a snubber on heavier weights with the Cannon 5 st and 10 stx. The start acceleration and stop deceleration is very aggressive which may leave a new 16 lb. weight on the bottom again.

Had a snubber on . I let a new guy drive and my dipsy wire got into the rigger and it canceled out my auto stop . At least I think thats what happened. Brand new mag 10 stx
