Just a heads up guys. Cabelas has the DM2's on sale for 25 Bucks. I needed a new reel and figured I would try one. In a past post someone was saying they had good luck with them. There is a 60 day no hassle return policy if I don't like it. I'll let ya know how I make out with it.

I have both the 20's and 30's. Have had them for the last four years without issue.

I bought some DM45's when I started, still have them and they still work good.

By the way they are made for Cabelas by Okuma so if you need parts you can get them from Okuma. The only thing I've had go wrong on one of them was the drive pin for the winder, it wore out do to using it for copper.

well worth the money, i own a few. Easy to replace if something happens to them

I have 4 now. I use two of them, DM45's on my dipsey rods and a DM30 on my medium downrigger rod. I had no problems what so ever last year. Just picked up the DM20 this past week. I am looking forward to using that one on browns this season.

I just got it on Monday now I am going to rig it for leadcore. Hopefully I can get 2-300 yrds. of backing with a full core.
