Chaumont and Guffin Bay (Pike SMB)

Just rented an Airbnb for my son and I to travel up from Connecticut to target Pike and Smallmouth right on Chaumont and Guffin Bay in mid June

Looking for any pointers on areas to target these fish as I don’t know the area and the whole place is as big as my home state. Bringing my 18 foot Ranger Bass Boat ( aluminum) with a 70hp, so I can cover some area, be there for five full days of fishing.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

A virus shot program is reported tp give you 90 days of quarantine exemption and it may be extended for 120 days.

Keep in mind that bass season does not open until the third Saturday in June. In Jefferson county you are not allowed to target bass outside of the season, even if you are practicing catch and release. If you are up there for opening weekend it will be busy!! Every year there are more and more local derbies and local bass clubs having tournaments.  Bass are usually still in the shallows with many still on beds. Other than that I don't know Chaumont bay so I cant give you any particular details.
