Has anyone had hook ups through the night in may on kings off Olcott or the bar if so how deep and how and what do you run for them. Had a serious injury to the eyes and may not be able to handle the sun. Thanks much.

Running the bar at night with riggers or dipsys sounds like a bad idea to me. Could probably do Olcott or Wilson but you're better off trying early morning or late evening. Not many guys fish for salmon at night until they start running up the streams.

My early spring King success was to troll near shore with Rapalla J13 plugs from first light near shore. After 8:00 AM we moved off shore as the sun rose up in the sky. Out to fifty foot at least with light weight spoons slow trolled.
