Great to get the boat back on the water. Did some deep perch searching. 36 degree water mostly. Found a decent school, no bait just jigging raps, took half dozen home. 20210313_155716_Original.jpg20210313_142054_Original.jpg

I used gold flat rap, heavy and fast down and moves a ton. After the school got used to what I was dropping they didn’t care what I dropped they were stingy. Wanted erratic action. I wasn’t on a numbers bite, being so deep, I wanted size if I was bringing them up that far. The view is from a lvs32 panoptix, with the black box. I have a lvs 12 I’m going to mount soon that I can remove for ice fishing, I am going to mount it to the jack plate, and attach it to the garmin on my rear deck.

That screenshot i sent is standard 2d, on the bottom, and panoptix is on the top. So you are looking at two views. That was a big school, with some 30ft down to the bottom. You can see how traditional sonar which is on the bottom, shows it as a big mush.
