Removing front hook and terminal tackle question

I have a couple questions for you all.  Is it worth removing the front treble off of a stick bait.  And what terminal tackle to use when running spoons and when running stick baits.  I already use a #8 spro between mainline and leader.  I have used duolock snaps w/out swivel at the lure end but wondered if I should use a snap swivel there too.  Thanks

I just bend the points closed (down to the main hook shaft).  Sometimes certain sticks will not run right if you take the treble off.

Some sticks with three hooks I’ll remove front hook for fewer net tangles.  When I do I go up a size or two on rear hook to make up for weight loss of front hook.  Using a duo lock snap is fine with a swivel up above on the leader especially with light weight spoons.

In the past I have just cut the points off them so the weight difference isn't critical and they don't hang up with that done.
