I never understood the new break wall, jetties seem to be the no brainer option. I had talked to one of the engineers on the project in passing and he said the outflow from buttonwood and salmon would naturally push the sand out of the channel. I can only assume he’s not local to the area and has never seen those two creeks in the middle of the summer.
