Mexico Bay

New to this site and was hoping for some honest answers. I have never fished out of Mexico Bay. I own a 20' Lund and not sure if I will have trouble with weather there. What is the wind knots and direction of I should avoid? Looking for Browns. Thank you for any and all help.

Just check the weather and avoid strong W NW or SW winds. Lighter wind or winds out of S or E should be no issue. I fish my 18’ Lund Alaskan with no issues. Just avoid fishing in waves over 2’ as it isn’t very comfortable although the boat can handle it.

Also you won’t need to be far off shore fishing browns.

Windfinder.com is a pretty decent source for wind speed, direction and wave heights.

10 to 12 miles per he wind will be to much out of the west or north.
