NK spoons

I have some NK spoons that are black with white bellys. Do they work on Lake Ontario? Should I try latter tape on the white belly,and if so what color or combinations?

Try ladders on the black side. Silver, purple, green, & Glow. Single or any combination. Also in addition to the ladder, consider 3/8" eyes in red and glow. (on the black side)

The black face/white cup nk with orange tape on the face has taken as many kings on Lake O as any spoon since the late 80's IMO. An all-time classic. I made some spook patterns recently with some. I added white glow paint over the white cup.

Red tape is good, so is black on purple tape or glow on green

If you really want to catch fish make a window lure with them -- go to at the oak and look for my window lure on the popular lures page.

As far as white cup spoons, anytime fishing below app 80 FOW, is when they go into my arsenal of spoons. I have a pile of the Old Joe's original Pirates 55's that are black/white cup that are taped as some mentioned above. These are just a few along with frogsas well.
