volvo penta drive

have what i belive is a 275 the numbers on the top of the drive on a plate 27145614b

i need to replace the boots and i want to make sure i get the right parts. I was missing the shift linkage cover so i purchased a one that says 270 on it it has two bolt holes but the drive has only one bottom bolt hole . it a 21 ft 86 bayliner trophy with i belive is a 305 in it.

I have the same boat as yourself with the volvo penta drive. I am not sure where masonville is located, but any parts I get, I always get them at Brewerton Boat Yard in Brewerton, NY. Any questions I have ever had, I have always called the guy and he was very easy to deal with and always pointed me in the right direction if he wasn't able to get the part. Is there a part number on the cover that you purchased? I can always check it with mine. Not sure if that would help or not, just thought I would offer.
