Looking for info/advise on what to use to stack lines or to run cheaters on coated downrigger cable. I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Appreciate any help given.

I'd advise using the pinch pad type as stackers on the coated line. You really don't want anything sliding or rotating on a coated cable as the coating will wear off real quick.

Just don't use the Scotty clip on releases on your probe rigger....the metal clip can interfere with your speed and temp readings if you clip it on the coated cable.

Dave I have some cannon style pinch pads for stacking if you want them. I don't stack rods any more so if you do I'll put them aside for you and you can pick them up when I get up there in a few weeks.

Dave I found one today and it's a home made one that was made up by the guy I bought this boat from. I also found two other single pads that we can make up like he did. I put them in my " Electronics- Bag" so when I see ya tell me where I put them...............LOL............
