Has anyone been out to the green can for lakers lately and how was it ?

Does anyone know for sure if they are letting the ice boom out on April 1 st ? Thanks BP

The boom will not be let out on the first, probably 7-10 more days.

Yes I was out there yesterday (the 31st of march) marked a few fish but didn't spend a lot of time out there. It was just to windy & cold.

The Satelite and open lake waters west of a line from Sturgeon Point to Point Abino on Lake Erie show the ice field is clear of the Welland Canal entrance. Warmer waters should be found on the Bar West of the Niagara River flume. The upper Niagara River was full of ice yesterday, they may have started to open the boom.
