Will a twili tip work on mono? I have extra reels and instead of buying new rods was thinking of running a mono diver (small chinook diver) for browns using the extra reel rather than using my wire diver reel.

I don't see a need for a Twili with mono. Is it because it is generally a wire diver rod and you're just changing reels?

Yea that was the plan

Not a big fan of mono for a diver. Just too much stretch. Much prefer braid for another non-wire diver. And again, no need for a twilli. Maybe making up a rigger/diver rod with braid on a LC?

Sure it will work fine w twilly tip and mono because your short leads for spring browns. As said though long mono is work to pop dipsy that are out a 100 plus ft
