Spent alot of time getting around and learning the lake but i would like to start catching landlocks.

Im not looking for everyones spot or best lure im just looking for some info and what they like in the lake and just some general colors they like

I'd look for them high in the water column and run around 3.0 or better. I like the smaller spoons on my divers and riggers. Scorpion stingers (mixed veggies, blue veggies, bloody nose) and Needlefish (rainbow, copcar). I run inline boards with jointed J-7 Rapalas in black and silver, brown trout, and rainbow trout. When they're on the bait it's tough to beat an alewife pattern. Good luck.

they can actually be found all over the water column.. I personally like to have riggers deep and junk lines high and just cover all the water from 80 feet up

Across from Taughannock state park about half mile north. while smallmouth fishing i catch a lot of lakers this time of year, that is the only spot I have caught landlocks on multiple occasions
