A Few Boat Launches In Jefferson County 5/28/21

The water on Lake Ontario is too low for me to use these boat launches. I didn't check any of the launches in Sackets Harbor, Henderson Harbor or Stony Creek.

 

This is the Chaumont Bay launch

 

This is Three Mile Bay

 

 

This is Martin's II

 

This is the Black River launch in Dexter. The floating dock is not installed yet.

 

 

My boat (22ft) and trailer are too long for these launches.

Thanks for the info Todd.  I used the Chaumont launch 3x during the second week of May to launch a 22 footer with no real issues.  However, I did leave/approach the dock with a kicker motor.  Once afloat and away from the dock, bay access was good.

 

The water and ramp in Sackets looked okay but I did not launch there.    Since there is no floating dock getting in/out of the boat from the retaining wall would be very difficult.
