Does anyone use this method for killing and cleaning fish? It's said to be the most humane way to kill a fish and preserves the meat significantly better.  Japanese technique that's been done for hundreds of years.

 

Does anyone have a kit they made themselves or know where to buy a kit for this method?

Definitely big difference on quality on quality of meat. I made my spike from screwdriver and most important bleed out the fish after you insert the spike
