80 to 160 fow. 1 1/2 to 2oz jig heads with white 4 to 5” paddletails, flukes, or tubes. Or jigging spoons. Nice subtle jigs near the bottom. Drift bags helps slow you down so you don’t drift as fast. 20lb braid to 8ft section of 15 lb flouro leader. Good luck. Different lake and different season, but some similar principles probably apply. This guy is a pro bass fisherman using bass techniques for Lakers. Ive done it in the fall in Lake Erie when they are in shallow spawning. once you find them, they are really easy to catch with vertical jigging… in the fall at least, never tried it in the summer. This time of year they are out deep, bellies in the mud.
