8) We ran the shoreline from Oklahoma Beach past Hedges under a sunny blue sky and flat conditions. Water temp near the bay was 41 and it slowly decreased to 38 near Hedges. Water color was a nice green and the fish were cooperating. We went 11 for 12 with a nice mixed bag. 2 Atlantics, 3 cohoes, 1 rainbow and the balance brown trout. Biggest fish was a nice clean brownie in the 9 lb range. Some browns had lamprey marks. The rainbow appeared to have recently come out of the stream with high fin wear. 2 fish off the riggers on NK spoons and rest of the otter boats with minnow baits. Chartreuse/green was the color of choice. A few taken on the flour. orange. A mix of Yozuri's and Rapalas. The wind picked up from the ENE and the fishing also picked up on the Westerly troll back. Water was much clearer past Hedges. The deep side boards seemed to be more active. We ran from 8 - 20 fow. A nice start to the season.

I have been lurking in other boats Mark but not talking much on the radio. Mine did not go in last year due to some family issues out of town. I was out with my nephew today. Hope to see you off the bay real soon !
