Like to hear what you guys think is the best fishing line for overall use. Downriggers-In-Line Boards. I know lb test makes a difference so lets say 17lb. Non flourocarbon.

Just switched to GAMMA exclusively. Always ran the fluoro for leaders but am really impressed with their Copolymer for main lines---riggers, divers and boards. Its expensive but, then again, everything with fishing is expensive!

Planerboards: 30# power pro, 10# PLine floroclear

Riggers no fleas: 20# big game

Riggers fleas: 30# big game

Cons for big game: Large Diameter, starts off stiff but then limbers up

Pros: Strong, cheap, Strong

I'm a McCoy fan. They are a west coast company, and recently came out with a floro that the elite BASS pros are really liking. This stuff is strong and it sheds fleas at the 25lb test strength. This line isn't cheap, but it is stronger than anything I have played with. I have run almost all the major brands too.

20# cortland fleaflicker- to battle the fleas

Triple Fish 15# copolymer- 4x more abrasion resistant than mono and the diameter of 12#
