For A Local Hero

U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Blaise Oleski on the far right was tragically killed in Afghanistan this week. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his Mom & Dad, and brother Bryce from Floyd, NY. (Holland Patent School) Photo taken in 2001.

I bought the 16' Starcraft Fisherman pictured below from Paul (Blaise's Dad) in 2002 after he upgraded to a bigger rig. The entire family are avid outdoors enthusiasts, particularly sharing a passion for musky fishing on the Rideau River Chain in Canada. Pictured are Blaise's brother Bryce, Paul, and Blaise.

Tragic loss, what these Men and Women are doing can't be easy. God Bless Him and His family, as well as all others overseas. I have a few friends who have Sons over there, I think of them every day.
