Looking for a crossbow for my 12 yo. Any thoughts on something that comes out of the box in good shape?

No takers on this post. Nonetheless I thought I would share that lightweight ruled our decision making. Went with Wicked Ridge Invader X4. About $400 Bass Pro.

Holy fast! We sighted in yesterday. No major issues other than bolts easily traveling through our block.
