What are the popular vhf channels beaides the calling channels? Just looking for some tips. Pretty slow thus far thanks.

68 or 72. Conversations in 9 or 16 will get you stern reply from the CG. [emoji13]

Most guys text info to each other rather than broadcasting on VHF anymore...not sure how much help listening to a VHF channel is if you are looking to zone in on some bites...at least based on the conversations I hear while on the water....

Prior to Cell phones were private channel marine scrambled radios... I miss those days!!
