Minn kota bow mount issue

I have a terrova 24 volt bow mount, works fine at the house but when I get on the water it has power but the green system ready light does not light up. Tried it at home and works fine green light lights up and remote works. Any ideas? It has power when on the water but just not the system ready green light. But will work fine at home on the garage.

Few years ago on my 36volt Terrova. The positive wire from the lower unit to the head unit burned out. I had to run a new wire up threw the shaft. It has been fine since. That is the only time my system ready light wouldn't come on. When I opened up the lower housing it had a very strong burnt electric smell. Worth looking into
