With good weather no reason not to.
Plenty of fish still around in the fall.

Go offshore and have a blast with steelhead.  September can be some of the best steelhead fishing of the year.

Nijajordan,

I plan to bring my son and niece up to Four Mile Creek for the Labor day weekend. Plan to fish out of Wilson and out of the Fort N. launch. Hopefully we can boat a couple after dragging from Frostburg MD. Plan to start inside then work out if I'm unable to get stagers to fire. I appreciate Gamblers recommendation on Steelhead... mostly just looking to put the youngins on some fighters.

Fishing wasn't so good for us.

Day 1 Niagara bar 9/04;

Lots of boats grinding the 100 ft to 130 ft. Lots of sea grass. A couple boats catching. We didnt take a hit. Moved out to 400 ft. No marks, no hits. Nothing in between on way in.

Day 2 Wilson 9/05;

Rain and 3+ ft waves in morning... stayed off and went for a nice breakfast. 4:00 pm hit Wilson and headed west in 3+ waves. Trolled east back to port. 90 to 120 fow down 80 to 90 foot. Took two screaming runs and both came unbuttoned. Flasher fly, flasher and flasher spoon.

Most guys are saying 110 fow down 80 to 90. No talk of offshore action.

Hope this is helpful
