So I rescheduled my trip to Ohio today. Originally I had planned to be there late season again for muzzy but I was able to grab a cancelation date and will be in Ohio November 12-14. Three full days during the rut in southern Ohio... Im looking forward to it!

This swirling low of rain is not conducive to blood trails. I used the last two days to get the chores done with next week off of work and hunting on the agenda. Friends in the southern tier are seeing bucks crossing roads with noses down. Mr itchy has been surprising quiet. This evening will get it started for me. Good luck all!

Things about to get hot. Noticed quite a few fresh scrapes walking in. Shortly after these doe showed up a small buck came out bumping her around. Hoping Mr 10 shows up to check his scrape soon

Skunked tonight. I have to remind myself there is a swirling low and 55 degrees but man I was hoping to see something. Zero wind. Tomorrow I am going to put some miles on the legs to do some scouting

Out in Colorado for 10 days on elk hunt and drew a mule deer tag yesterday was first day and got a nice mule deer not the biggest but what a blast Bout 3 mile walk in set up and around 1 30 it happened

Got my target buck he died with is rack wedge under the rail of the train tracks...train took of a few inches of 2 tines and half his ear but I guess I'm lucky he didn't get demolished
