Point Breeze 4-16-09 First King

Headed out for a half day of fishing with 2 friends and my 9yr old.

Found fish east in 8 - 15 fow. Fished 4 hours and ended up just 1 shy of the box. Good to see a mature king in the area!! Maybe there are more!

Black and purple honeybees off the riggers.

Straight 11 rapalas in silver, gold, rainbow, purple, copper

Kaboom Bill Baroo (Took king off board in 14 fow)

Capt. Carl, thanks for the report. Good job on not only the box, but esp. with the king. I noticed on the Oak site where both you and Clarence put a king in the box. Looks like those have to be the first of the season from the reports. Maybe a sign of good times once again this year at the Oak
