Hi All,

Friend of mine pointed me towards this forum. I have a 16' Lund V that I fish with my young son. We get out when we can. We try to catch a good bite in the spring for Browns. We have had some success, but want it to get better. We have had some terrific days trolling smallmouth in the summer.

Right now I am just hoping to pick up some tips and pointers to get some more success in the spring and fall for trout and salmon out of our little boat. So that limits us to calmer days, and fishing closer to shore. Right now we concentrate our efforts on flat lining stick baits. We will stop and cast some of the tributaries with Cleos and Jr. Thundersticks.

I just borrowed a pair of planer boards, but I think it will be hard with my boy trying to help, and I am not confident in how to set them up and handle strikes without getting all the lines tangled.

I fish mostly near Pultneyville and Hollands Cove. I also get into fishing in and around Port Bay once in a while. Tom
