We got out for a few hours last night and water temp was 52 deg at Oklahoma Beach and dropped to around 48 deg once you got past Forest Lawn. A large change from the 38 deg. water last Sat. We trolled East to Hedges at about 2.6 and the high sun and extremely clear water were not conducive to the best bite. We worked between 10 and 20 fow with no takers. We turned back on a West troll, charged the beach and managed two healthy browns off the boards in 7 fow right at sundown. The larger fish made two nice aerial displays for a new angler we had on board! Nice night with calm conditions and a beautiful sunset. Browns took fire tiger and a chartreuse minnow baits. Once the sun went down the air temp. followed. Wear your long johns for the ride back in ! Remember to take a kid fishing and introduce them to a great resource in our area. :o

No. we were East of IBAY all the way to Hedges on the border of Wayne County. We only saw one other boat out in our area as well. Russel Station is West of the Genesee River.
