Which caller did you get Brian? Predator hunting is a ton of fun

Walking with my wife at Hamlin Beach this morning watched a pair of yotes mousing. Was pretty cool. Were probably 125 yards away and upwind.

Got access to a new property that has loads of fox and yotes. So far we haven’t closed a deal on a yote but there is one less fox out there.

Such a beautiful animal that feeds on mice and voles. Congrats on the kill. That will make you wallet much heavier.

You come to predator threads to complain often? Don’t look if it offends you.

You are correct, they also eat squirrels, rabbits , turkey, pheasant, quail, grouse, small deer ( I've seen it) , invade people's private stock. Oh yea they also invade nests of all of the above and more, so the list never ends on why these things shouldn't be taken.

Tommy and a friend out calling tonight.
The roadkill deer has had nothing but fox and opossum on it so far. Hope that changes soon.

There was some great music coming from my hounds last weekend. The calm weather provided some good tracking on the hounds part. The silver coyote I took running 50 yds in front of the hounds at 175 yards,it was a couple hour chase. Whaler do you recognize that one? He was heading straight for the park and didn't make it, only one more road to cross lol.20220109_114301.jpg20220108_130158.jpg

Hard for me to tell if it’s one of the ones I’ve watched at the park but it makes sense. Great stuff Ken.

Beautiful dogs Ken. Love to run with you guys sometime.
Lazyriver I don’t sweat Rusty’s opinion.
In this day and age the difference of opinions are pretty common. No worries we still share a lot of common interests.
Never even heard of a Vole before his post. Pretty sure we’ll be saving the lives of a lot of them.

He showed up last night. Took a heart shot and still went 100 yards into the redbrush. Tommy retrieved him this morning.

Crazy how far they can still go with a perfect shot on them.
