tekota line counters

anyone upgrade to the new ones?? how r they

Have 4. 2 On riggers.  2 On wire dipsy.   Love them.   Good all the way around.   Drag, size, nice handle.   Only small issue is the line counter sticks out a bit.   After a couple of good days I was wondering why I have a sore sport on my arm.   The line counter can run on your arm.

I have 12 of them (500s and 600s) I use for wire/braid diver rods and riggers.   Awesome reels all around.  Love the precision drag, the big handle and just the overall high-performance.  I did end up getting some different reels for my long lines as the capacity of the tekotas isn't enough...  I use the Okuma Coldwater 553s for my Weighted Steel setups and 7-10 color lead core setups.
