Probably 1/2 day 2 or maybe 3 people.   Always wanted to fish the bar. Lower part of river. 2 experienced guys we fish the e end and fingerlakes.  Im retired now   PM me.

Stan from everything i know these very competent fishermen are right on target with their recommendation and it would be the way to go bud.

Typical Niagara trips are 6 hours and cost between $350 and $400. 
Bar fishing is more sensitive to wind than the river. If you book a date you may need to be flexible between the two. Bar often is heavy on lakers but some monster browns are caught there as well. The scenery from Lewiston to Devis Hole is incredible. Steelhead numbers are much higher there as well. 
Either way it’s an incredible fishery and you’ll be back again.
