Bandit report Sandy creek 4-19

Fished 7- 10 am out front 8-10 fow west side of the creek, good pockets of colored water at about 44 deg. 3 steelies all taken with the usual orange, chatruse, stickbaits and rapalas. The steel head must still be spawning as one let her load all over the back of the boat. 5 times out and fish every time sure seems to be a pritty good start so far, especially as I read thier are kings being take in this part of the lake already.

Yes I'd say that's a good start for the season five trips and fish every trip..way to go!!!.....Have you heard of Kings coming from the Sandy area? I have heard of a few from Rochester area.

No kings at sandy , just the ones I read about on this board out in front Genesee.

We fished out of Sandy Creek ( headed east) Sat AM and caught a 31" King on a NK28 in 15' of water,6 down 50' back. Also caught a Nice Small Mouth (Shad Rap 50 back) and a Steelie ( also on an NK), but no browns and nothing on the boards.
