I'm selling 2 Cannon Optimum downriggers that we ran last season on Lake Ontario. We cycle through a new set each season, and the new ones are here. We're selling last years downriggers for $1000ea with buyer picking them up in the Rochester-Sodus area.

The body of the downrigger is really the only thing that was used. We have our own booms, spools, rod holders, bases and swivel bases.

Used Opti's last year and LOVED them.  Can't say enough good things about them. The Bluetooth is a game-changer.

So questions for you guys that run them;

1. Do you need the cannon transducer to bottom track or will it work with the fish hawk xd?

2. Will the sonar feature work networked to a hummingbird unti or do you need the transducer?

3. Does 1 unit suffice or could you use two when linked to FH or depth finder?

thanks

2. Will the sonar feature work networked to a hummingbird unti or do you need the transducer?  Both

3. Does 1 unit suffice or could you use two when linked to FH or depth finder?  I don't understand the question

thanks

Thanks Rick for answering.  My question on having one or two optimums was regarding linking it to a FH, with only having the one probe, does the second downrigger also pick up that info via network?  Sorry for the questions.

Go to 1:21 in the video to see the Optima bluetooth stuff

Great video, but you do know downrigger depths have to end in a 0 or a 5 to catch fish. :lol:

 That's for east-west, we were going north-south on an odd-numbered Saturday who's date was a prime number.
