007 stern planner

Anyone have any experience with churches 007 stern planner, pro/cons I use and like there in line side boards so thinking these might be worth the money. Thanks

They have their place and time. I’ve had good luck using them when I’m striper fishing live bait trolling about 1-1.5 mph. I’ll have planers on the side and a stern planer way back out the back. It is very stealthy and has way less resistance than a big bobber would. I’ve seen people use them on flat lines also to get them way behind the boat but keep the bait higher in water column in shallow water. Like most things their only limited by one’s imagination.

I painted a 20oz Pepsi bottle orange and wired a red
Offshore clip to it. Gives me my 9th line in a 9 line spread.
