Fished the bar on 4/18. No kings but lots of large lakers from the bar east to a couple miles past 4 mile. 80-85 ft of water was best. Lakers came 35-80 ft down and green was the color of the day. We went 12/16. We had 4 between 13-18 lbs. They are fun to catch in the cold water. Sunday was a blow-off day.

Yes the river looks like the mississippi. I don't get it, we have had no rain in awhile? I hear there are icebergs along hamburg shoreline on erie, so maybe they are beating up the shoreline sending mud down the river. Too bad, I just moved the boat from Olcott to Youngstown tonight so I can fish Sunday at the bar :@ . The sattelite shows mud going way out and east to Wilson. WTF!

The strong winds out of the west over the past few days turned up Erie and left us with MUD. I'll be trying for browns tomorrow then maybe out to the bar.
