Harbor freight has a couple in the $10-30 range. Will do fine for most of what you want to probably do. Couple stencils and some model paint and you should be good to go.

I would suggest a gravity feed brush. I started with a NEO from Hobby Lobby. Find a coupon and its quite affordable. Getting started can be a bit frustrating - no need to fight your brush too. Buy your hose and other accessories from Harbor Freight.

Ok great, thanks for the help. What know m kind of paint and clear coat do you use to paint flasher tape and the actual flasher? Do you need to use primer?

Never painted a flasher, but assuming that it is plastic like a crankbait, you shouldn't need primer. Just make sure the blank is clean and then shoot a coat of white as a base. I fear you may be using a lot of AB paint to cover the blank. Maybe start with a rattle can? Could use Devcon two ton epoxy as a sealer.
