Lead line reel

I’m looking to add a couple of lead line rod/reels to my boat this year and am wondering if Penn Fathom II 30 will hold enough lead line and backing?  I think I’d like the 50’s but they don’t seem available, f in Covid I’m sure. Thanks.

You can get a 10 color combo, rod, okuma line counter reel, pre spooled with leader, 10 colors, and backing for about 115.00 on eBay. I use these combos, they have been great for me.

I started trolling last year and bought several of these at Cabela's for $69.95 but I see they are at least temporarily unavailable.  No line or leader included.  One mistake I made was trying to put lead core on a smaller reel.  I ended up having to re-spool the lead core onto a larger reel.  Dumb beginner mistakes and hopefully I won't make them twice…

I really want those penn reels and wonder if I can get away with a 30 series vs. the 50 which isn’t available.
