Charlotte Pier Wednesday

While my boat is being repaired, I decided to take a few casts off the Charlotte pier around 11 AM this morning. Very first cast had a brown on, but lost after a few rolls....15 Minutes later had a bigger fish on that I was able to land....It was a very nice brown trout in the 8 lb. class....Would have stayed longer, but my friend who was with me was cold...There's always after supper!

I have been flayling my arms off three times off that pier already and have zip to show for it. Just goes to show you it is day to day.... Nice job Pop.

I did get out there today and this time I brought my camera! There was an east wind so the water off the Charlotte pier was pretty quiet...Water was also very clear....Didn't like that, but cast my way out to the end of the pier and then along the mudline I caught a feisty brown on my ultra-light rod and reel....Not as big as the fish I landed on Wednesday, but it was a fighter....I was using my favorite lure, the baby bass Yo-Zuri Rattlin' Vibe....Take a look....Can't wait to get my boat back in action....Hook'em
