Flasher fly sizes for finger lakes

I bought some dipsy combos and will be fishing the finger lakes mostly. Should fly sizes be downsized for the fish I'm anticipating to catch in the fingers or should I fish the same size flies sold for lake ontario? I see names like atomik, rapture, Howie...etc. Not necessarily looking for anyone's favorite pattern. Thanks in advance.

On Cayuga I run more spoons behind a dipsey than F&F.  But when I do I run 8" spin doctors with flies trimmed or old beat up ones around 3-3.5".  I think they would still hit a full dressed great lakes fly but I like the smaller profile and a smaller hook.

I run alot of A-Tomik teaser flies behind a flasher/spin n glo combo with very good success. I have also caught some trout on full size flies too. Teaser size flies on my boat out perform full size 10 to 1 though.
