Putting in at pine Grove

Going to put in at pine Grove tomorrow, was curious what the more experienced folk think troll west or east? Have a whole slew of spoons to throw at them from planers and riggers.

You are coming out of the Salmon river on the East shore. I would turn north and fish shallow toward Sandy pond and floodwood

I was there Sunday. I would go west to the power plant. Most of the boats are there. Watch the winds.

So I went over the Hudson on 90 shortly after posting this and saw that there were quite a few guys fishing for striper. I ended up losing a rod up near green island in Troy, not sure if I hooked the bottom or a fish but I looked back and it sucked right out of the holder.
So I ended up not going to the big lake, which I now regret.
