Wanted King marine ap 2000 autopolit fluxgate WTB

Looking for a fluxgate compass heading sensor. Any one have one?

I have a ap 2000 in my boat that never worked for me, busted when I bought boat. was told it needed mother board. What is a fluxgate and if it is a separate part and easy to remove ,I will sell it to you.

It is seperate. It plugs into the main unit

I will try to locate it in my boat, never noticed it anywhere though. My unit keeps blowing a fuse, was told it needs a new motherboard. I can live without it. Too much hassle to remove .

Found the fluxgate, it appears I would have to remove  my steering column to open the unit to unplug it from the motherboard. Not willing to do so. Don't want to screw anything up. Sorry.
