What a difference a year makes. Fished there this time last year for 8 straight days and caught one brown and 7 salmon. Sounds like a different year this year! Headed there in a month. Very excited.
thanks for the report!

Yeah whatever happened last year with the vanishing brown trout seems to be behind us.  Lots of em around and some good size too.

Fished solo today. Only ran two rods in shallow 4-15 ft,  water was gin clear but managed to go 11 for 13 from 11am to 6:30pm. It was an all spoons bite, anything that had green.

Will give it another go tomorrow until lunch.

WTG, That sounds extraordinary for clear water in skinny.  All Browns?  Did you notice what the water temps were in there?

What speed do you guys usually run for spring browns?  I’m new to this thanks for any help.

2.2-2.8 down speed

Faster was better for us we did 2.8-3.2 at least this trip, normally 2.5-2.8 caught lots of fish at that speed
