I am in search of an inboard boat motor for my penn yan tunnel drive boat. I would like to find a mercruiser, but I am open to other options as well. Needs to be 200hp or bigger. I don't necessarily care if it is in perfect running condition so long as it is complete and not seized. Must be clockwise/right rotation.

Thanks

make sure you match the engine rotation as the strut and rudder are rotation specific

I have a mercruiser 260 in good running condition and just put a new quadrajet carburetor reman on it with elec choke. I'm located in Pulaski. It's a standard rotation motor.

I need a motor that is right hand rotation. Is that what standard rotation is considered to be?

This might explain marine engine rotation a bit better. Confusing as it may be rotation is judged looking at the flywheel not the front of the engine. Standard automotive rotation is actually a counter clock wise engine and a reverse rotation engine is clockwise rotation.
