Ok guys the Great Lakes Angler magazine is pumping catching kings down 250+on lake Michigan. Do any of you guys catch kings down in 200 or more feet of water? If so what times of the year, and do you think it is something we will be hearing more of on Ontario? I dont know if they are in with Big Jon but the Big Jon Brute Rigger sounds like the only one designed to lift the weight required to fish that deep. Just checking to see if I need to add some more things to the wish list HA  . Thanks Sean

Sean,

I guess the question is why do you have to fish that deep when we catch plenty of kings from the surface to 100'? Who is going to drop 25# to 200' when the rods are popping at 60???

Makes for interesting reading though!! Maybe I'll add a 1# weight to my 600' copper that ought to get to about 200' -- pitty the poor sap that reels it in!!
