Scotty counters

Anybody have any issues with Scotty cable counters. If I use them all day by the end of the day they seem to be off by 3 or 4 feet. Should I replace counters?

I had a counter fog up this spring, an e-mail to Scotty got me 2 new counters under warranty for free.

You can adjust them by putting them on 0 ft at the water level

Andre Wallyandre I know that and do that but after up and down a few times they seem to be off quite a bit
