My son and I got out early both days.

Fished 75 to 130 most of the time .

Fri we landed probably 20 fish . A mixed bag of everything . We got I think 3 good kings up to 20# . About 6 real nice steelheads up to 11# maybe . Temp was down like 80 ft .

Sat morning it was howling so bad I didn't even get in the rowboat to fish the creek and that never happens .

East wind Sat brought temp up . Was 42 deg down 50 .

We ended up having consistent action all day . Riggers we're hot till 830 or so . 40 to 55 down took 2 good kings . Then my slide diver took over the show . 3  good kings netted and lost a few more .

We ran out to 400' and found a nice temp break 50' down - 47F in 400, but 52F in 370. Bunch of good kings, not stupid but steady, better after 7 am with steelies early on the riggers. Lots of current. Our last hour was 1/6 on big rips, massive awe-inspiring hits, then nobody home. Mix of spoons and F/F.

It's nice not to suck for once lol.

I figured that east wind would change things .

Question

What more could anyone ask of a fishery ? Good job to the folks who make all this happen .
