Question about otter boats

hay guys I just bought 2 otter boats, my question is the rope on the boats it says to tie a loop 9 inches from front and 14 inches from back. Do the boats run true that way? Thank you Wonderboy

Yes, tie them the way they tell you and they will run true.

That is a good starting point, but the best part about those otter board is you can adjust them with the knot placement. Start with those measurements and if you are runnin your coppers off of them you mite want to shorten that back end measurement to have them pull out to the sides more.

You will be happy with them either way. If those measurements dont work, I can measure mine but i forgot what I adjusted them to from the factory reccomendations.
