Green at Owasco

Made a quick trip out on Owasco this morning. First time since the 4th of July weekend and was very happy to see the fleas have subsided. On the flip side though, the water was very green and cloudy. Not sure if it was from the recent rains but the water clarity was terrible. Might have been able to see my rigger ball 2' down and that was it.

 

Set up in about 80' looking for lakers and 20 min after set I got my first of the day on a trout alien set up. Seemed like a good omen but could only manage to land one other laker for the day on a death trap. All in all pretty slow but can't beat this beautiful weather
