Headed out around 6am with intentions to target Salmon but my fish hawk had other ideas. Kept reading 03.8 on ball temperature so we abandoned that plan and went after Lakers. We ended up 15 of 16 with two over 20lbs. All were caught in 95-115 fow on gambler rigs. We ran past cow sucker creek and got my probe and cannonball caught on something which snapped the line. I have it marked on my graph to avoid in the future. It was great to go out with buddies I haven't seen in a while. FB_IMG_1659896056979.jpg

Down temp at 3.8 = probe failure and can’t be fixed. Hopefully less than 2 years old and under warranty or you’ll be buying a new probe (been there done that). Seems to be a common problem. They will give you a discount but still sucks.

Mine was reading 3.8 or 4.0 which is apparently the death knell. Called FishHawk they asked for serial then sent me a new probe in less than a week.

at least you made lemonade outta lemons on the lakers

16 years of pounding that stretch and I have never snagged bottom!  I have pulled some large branches / logs off the bottom in that stretch.
