Grandsons are becoming walleye chefs

My grandsons are here this week and wanted grampy’s fish. They did a great job helping get the fish ready to fry.

Now I need to get them out on the river to haul in a few. They had fun last summer fishing in their pajamas.

Got the boys on Butterfield and each caught a bass and a bunch of bluegills.

That’s awesome Kevin. Your pictures remind me of when I was a kid and my cousin and I used to go stay with my grandparents in Chaumont Bay. Making memories they will remember for ever. Glad to see the younger generations still interested in the outdoors. As a teacher I feel like I see less and less of my students every year that are interested in hunting and fishing. Unless they are doing it on a video game.😂

I agree. When I began teaching in Alex Bay many students missed opening day of duck season. By the time I retired in 2007 things had changed and since that time they have changed even more. Not sure I could teach today but I have no regrets.
